How To Order Your Skimmer Suit

Order Forms:

Directions:

First be sure to write very clearly on your order form. If I can’t read it I can’t build your suit.

To place your order pick the form for the suit you want and print it out. Then have a friend handy to help you take your measurements (unless you’re a contortionist). Wear the clothes that you normally skydive in (including shoes) when you take the measurements. Make sure the tape measure that you use is accurate by comparing it to a ruler or yard stick, fabric tape measures can stretch and if the tape measure isn’t accurate your suit WILL NOT FIT. Take each measurement carefully following instructions on the form; it’s best to take each one twice to be sure they are correct. Write all measurements down as inches. I can’t stress enough how important it is that you carefully take each measurement, what I mean is don’t just write down your pants inseam and not take the measurement, your suit won’t fit if you do this. If you have any questions about how to take the measurements please e-mail me.

Once you have all your measurements pick your colors. I suggest you limit the number of colors per suit to three (I’ll do more, but you’ll look silly). Pick your colors using the photo color guide (due to differences in monitors, colors may not exactly match the real thing). Notice that sometimes shades of the same color do not match exactly between the different types of fabrics (for example, the royal blue cordura doesn’t exactly match the royal blue supplex).  Tye dye colors are shown individually but can be combined (a few examples of combos are shown), keep in mind that the base fabric is white so there will be white showing in the final product, also when doing 2 to 3 colors the colors are applied at the same time so there will be blending of the colors.  Tye Dye is not an exact science – if you have very specific requirement, write it down and I’ll contact you if I can’t do it.  Remember tye dye is an option and carries an additional fee.

Next choose any options you may want to add to your suit. Add everything up and write out a check or get a money order (I’m sorry but I don’t take credit cards) to Skimmer Suits (if you’re a Minnesota resident please add 6.5% sales tax) then mail the order form and full payment to:

Suits will not be started unless full payment is sent with order. Turn around time on suits is typically about six weeks from the time the order is received. If you any questions on how to order please contact me.
